Ellen is a cheerful and creative girl. She has all sorts of strange but interesting ideas since she was small. Her unconstrained mind driven her to became a design lover. Her major in secondary school were art and design, design & technology and photography. She first found herself interested in environment and spatial design, so she took BA (Hons) of Environmental and Interior design as her undergraduate degree, and then she found herself more passionate in lighting and took Master in Lighting as her postgraduate degree. After that she started her career as a professional lighting designer.

My best holiday destination ever
There is no best holiday destination, as all countries has their own characteristic, which worth to see and explore. However, in this moment, I would love to visit Maldives again, just to spend my day under the sun, in the water with all the sea creatures.
The place I was born
Hong Kong is my home country where I was born. It is a dynamic city with a combination of western and eastern style. You can find the energetic side of Hong Kong in the city, the leisure and quiet fishing village style in the country side. The uniqueness of this place is infused by its strong historical background.
My all-time dream
I always dreamed to own a little café beside the sea. When there is no guest, I can continue my design work there, if there are guests, I can enjoy cooking, and to meet new friends. In my spare time I can enjoy cocktails with sea breeze comes through the window or jump into the sea next my café.
